The Military Adaptive Sports Program is ready for Spring Clinics. Unfortunately with the COVID-19 crisis, we are unable to host them at our usual gyms. So, we’re bringing the Clinics to you! Regional Coordinator and Rowing Coach, Patrick Johnson, will be working with professional cycling coaches to teach you exercises and techniques that you can learn from the comfort of your home.  

Day 1: Bicycle Care and Technique Self-Study Video

Day 2: Live Indoor Rides and Coaching Tips

Join this 10 minute Q&A and a 40 minute high intensity ride to get a feel for and develop the rider’s maximum sustainable pace. To track your workouts, be sure to have your STRAVA account downloaded on your phone.  (Day 1 video explains STRAVA) 

Day 3: Live Indoor Rides and Coaching Tips

Join this Active Recovery Ride including a 10 minute warm-up and learning how to use “spin-ups” to develop pedaling skills and muscular efficiency. After the ride, join the 15 minute “FINAL WRAP & CHAT with the coaches and other riders to end of the clinic.

Remember to hydrate before, during and after the clinic and if you are not a current Microsoft Teams user you will need to have a laptop or desktop with an active camera and sound to join the rides.
