Care Coordination


The Recovery Coordination Program is pleased to provide comprehensive resources that assist recovering and transitioning military service members and support military families to meet their needs and achieve their goals.

Education and Employment Initiative (E2I):

The Education and Employment Initiative is a program that assists wounded, ill, and injured service members early in the recovery process to identify their skills and match them with the education and career opportunities that will help them successfully transition to civilian life. Read more

Operation Warfighter (OWF):

Operation Warfighter is an internship program placing wounded, ill, and injured service members in federal agencies. OWF offers recovering service members supportive work settings that positively impact their rehabilitation and prepare them to return to active duty or to transition into jobs in the government or private sector. Read more

Military Adaptive Sports Program (MASP):

The Military Adaptive Sports Program enhances recovery by engaging wounded, ill, and injured service members in individualized physical and cognitive activities outside of traditional therapy settings, inspiring recovery and physical fitness, and encouraging new opportunities for growth and achievement. Read more

Recovery Coordination Program (RCP):

The Recovery Coordination Program oversees and executes policy that standardizes non-medical care provided to wounded, ill, and injured service members across military departments, including the assignment of a Recovery Care Coordinator for eligible recovering service members. Read more

National Resource Directory (NRD):

The National Resource Directory provides access to thousands of services and resources at the national, state, and local levels to support recovery, rehabilitation, and reintegration. The NRD allows service members, veterans, families, and caregivers to learn more information on key topics such as healthcare, employment, and education. Read more
