“Strength is the one word that is never missing from the story of our nation’s wounded, ill, and injured Service members – in fact, it is what defines it. Strength, however, comes in many different sizes, shapes, and packages. Whether it is the physical strength that it takes to overcome an injury, the mental strength that is required to successfully reintegrate, or the strength of the families and caregivers that care for our warriors every day – strength is the very foundation of a successful recovery. I urge you to take the time to ask questions and learn from each of today’s panelist because they each have a very unique story and perspective to share but all know the meaning of strength.” – Mr. James Rodriguez, Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Warrior Care Policy Chat live with Army, Navy, and SOCOM wounded warriors from 1300 – 1400 (EST) on November 12th.
