DoD/DOL Partnership   The Department of Defense (DoD) and the Department of Labor (DOL) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), to foster and formalize collaboration between the two departments. Signed by Dr. Jonathan Woodson, Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs and Keith Kelly, Assistant Secretary for Department of Labor’s Veterans’ Employment and Training Services, the MOU ensures that wounded, ill, and injured Service members and those enrolled in the Disability Evaluation System receive referrals to DOL American Job Centers and Disabled Veterans' Outreach Program Specialists. This agreement marks a collaboration milestone and reaffirms both departments’ commitment to providing education and employment assistance to wounded, ill, and injured Service members.
