Secretary of Defense Ashton B. Carter recently called upon the wider Department of Defense (DoD) community to recognize November as Warrior Care Month, urging the Military Departments, the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General DoD Counsel, and more to "become more informed about warrior care resources; explore new ways to help our wounded, ill, and injured Service members, families, and caregivers realize their own potential; and continue a year-round discourse regarding warrior care priorities."
