According to
CityofChicago.org, nearly 40 million people visit the
Windy City annually. This year, that number will include 265 wounded, ill, and injured Service members and Veterans, along with families, caregivers, and supporters of the
, which provides competitive athletic opportunities and adaptive reconditioning activities to wounded, ill, and injured Service members. Participation in adaptive sports and reconditioning activities has demonstrated benefits on physical and mental quality of life, while also encouraging personal growth and achievement as Service members adapt to their new normal.
Events will take place throughout the City of Chicago and are open to the public.
